HK Aurora class Dropship Chakuriku Renga (Landing Brick)
Planet Sadalbari

Journal Entry from Chu-i Kenneth Tokunawa

After we got the Dropship moved, I had to wait around, listening to the lead tech, Shinji think his name was complaning how lucky and unlucky I was. Apparently, we don’t have enough Autocannon shells for the next run for me. So, I’m getting stuck gaurding the dropship, While the other three, get to smoke out the rest of the forces.

This gets me wondering, why am I out of ammo? And how did we not origanlly know that our enemies had Orbital Lasers?

Me? I think we have a “nezumi” (Rat) on board!

HK Aurora class Dropship Chakuriku Renga (Landing Brick)
Planet Sadalbari

Journal Entry from Chu-i Kenneth Tokunawa
Well, The day after my last entry, I got introduced to my new Mech. I must say, she’s very classy. Don’t get me wrong, I haven’t actually been in a Battle situation with it, but the simulations I was put though gives me a good idea of what’s going to happen. An Autocannon on one arm, a samurai sword made of Depleted Uranium held by the other. It’s Beautiful! I am honored to have been selected for this unit.
Two days after that, We landed…. Well, sort of. I guess sitting out in orbit a few days isn’t a great way of being sneaky. We were slowly burning in to the selected Drop Zone, and we hit what I thought was turbulence.  Then we landed hard and the Klaxon went off. I ran fast to my locker, changed into my togs, put on my cooling vest, got to my Mech, and was met by the other three MechWarriors. Kisho Nova Cat (who pilots his Windgo), Kenshen Tadashi (and his Shiro), and Ottus Salabaldi (in his Zeus). Apparently, we were shot-down, and the doors were stuck by 5 meters of snow. The plan was for Salabaldi to force one of the doors open, we all leave through the open door, scout to see what shot us down, and destroy it.
Being out for a day and a half, I kind of wish I had brought back-up clothing, just in case I had to eject from the mech. The only thing keeping me warm right now is the engine of the mech. Kisho and I were sent forward to scout, allowing the Heavy and Assault class Mechs to lag at their slow speeds. They could move faster, but they would be pushing their Mechs a bit, and there is a chance that they could get stuck in the snow if they move faster anyway.  I, Myself, am finding that I cannot move any faster either, the snow is deep and I don’t like it.
After another 2 hours later, we find the base, and they have a Orbital Bombardment Laser. Which was surrounded by several artillery, which I got hit by, and several Mech bays; which had the same problem as our Dropship doors.  So, we assaulted the Laser, and took out a lot of artillery, and then backed off, back to the Chakuriku Renga, to have her land in a better place, and get our Battle Armor units out, and let the techs take care of the repairs.

Over Planet Sadalbari

Journal Entry from Chu-i Kenneth Tokunawa.

I haven’t been in the DCMS long, at least not long enough to be where I’m currently at. I’m a Mechwarrior, but my only real training before I joined the DCMS was in a AgroMech MkII. My family comes from a long line of wheat farmers. Until the day my Grandfather left in a dropship full of People from the Combine to fulfill Delvan Stone’s “Relocation” program. “The Inner Sphere needed to learn tolerance between it’s peoples, so peace could have a chance,” my Grandfather would tell me, ” But all it did was miss-place people to worlds full of prejudice and unrealistically forced most of our people move immediately out.” When he landed on Sadachbia, he bought a plot of land where he could raise a family, grow crops, and get away from the “idiotic gaijin” (even though, we were the foreigners).
My father joined the local Mitilia and ended up dieing in a pirate raid on the planet when I was 10. It changed my Grandfather after that. He only lived another year after that, but it was quite noticeable. He looked at my father’s death as like the Inner Sphere killed my father and the depression of the loss of my father.
I sold the farm. Joined up with the Dragon’s Fury a Month or so before they joined up with House Kurita. I’m glad they finally picked us up. When I joined, money was almost non-existent in the Fury. While I was in Basic Training, it seemed as though the Combine was going to get rid of the Fury, even heard they captured Tomark. But, In the end, the Coordinator knew we were doing the Combine’s work.
Just a little while ago, I found out what Mech I was assigned to is the newer style Rokurokubi. I haven’t seen it yet, but it can’t be long because word is we drop in a couple of days.
